Q1. What is the difference between GNSS and GPS?
The difference is simple: GPS is only the U.S. satellite constellation, while GNSS is the umbrella term for all global navigation systems. A GNSS module receives GPS plus GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, QZSS and NavIC at the same time, tracking 30–50 satellites versus a handful for a GPS-only module. More satellites mean a faster fix, better accuracy and reliable positioning in cities or near obstacles.
